This object has obviously been lived in and therefore shot after installation. This makes for a successful project but not neccessarily perfect, studio quality photos.

The client has a chemical sensitivity and was very specific about materials and finishes used in order to keep her children healty. Use of metal fastners was kept to a bare minimum and resulted in the creation of a joint that we are calling a sliding, wedged dove tenon to bring the rails and posts together. Posts are a agricltural recycled ash. All other components are ash as well. Low toxicity glue, paint, and finishes were used exclusively per the client's specifications.
